Avismar Nathaniel
Nate is a very special male from the old British Maine Coon lines that arrived in Europe before the “clones“. He is from a linebred combination, but still with genetic diversity within median for Maine Coon.
Thanks to Ulli Illya at Coonity Maine Coon we were allowed to buy him and get him to Norway. We cross fingers and paws that he can give offspring for our breeding project.

Nate comes from what we call “Old British lines”, that constitute a sub population of the Maine Coon breed. These cats descend from Maine Coons who arrived in Europe before 1979-1982 with the clones bottle neck. They are thus relatively little related to other Maine Coons, and are very valuable for the Maine Coon gene pool.

Nate has sired three litters at Coonity, in 2021, where only two girls are considered for further breeding. With Nate’s special and very valuable lines if can be beneficial if he should have more offspring, for serious breeders to work with.
