Oppdrettets førstefødte! Alrik flyttet til en barnefamilie i Molde, men ble grunnet allergi året etter omplassert til en annen familie i Fræna. Han kalles til daglig Simba.
Simba fikk dessverre sovne inn februar 2024 da han hadde blitt smittet med FIV.
The name Alaric is found in A Song of Ice and Fire where Alaric is a well-travelled troubadour singing in King Joffrey’s wedding. GRRM has created the character as an homage to fantasy writer Phyllis Eisenstein and her Alaric the Minstrel-books. The name Alaric means ruler of all and is first known from the Visigoth ruler Alaric I who sacked Rome in 410, and also from the Swedish saga king Alrek in the Ynglingasaga.
